This morning I filmed my third actress Devon. We met up at 10am to do hair and make up. She then changed into her costume while I went and booked out the camera (Canon xf100) along with wide angle lense and tripod. We then made our way to the location, and underpass near to the location I filmed Moureen at last week. Once we got there I set up and we got filming! The only slight problem we had was the public walking through the underpass. However this wasn't as much of a problem as I thought it would be as it was quite quiet. I got all of the shots done in around 25-30 minutes, then we packed up and came back to uni.
I am planning on editing and colour grading Devon's footage either later on today or this weekend.
The all I need to do is arrange the last shoot with my friend for next week, which shouldn't be too difficult to organise as she lives on the same road as myself.
Then its visual effects and editing towards the end of the project.

Update
Since my last post I have edited and colour graded Moureen's footage and the footage of the panning cityscape and I have organised the shoot with Devon. We will shoot her footage tomorrow morning and I will edit and colour grade her footage at the weekend. The last remaining shoot with Laura will be organised for some time next week. On this shoot I will also shoot the clips for the montage at the beginning of the video. I was going to shoot these clips on green screen just to add an extra bit of visual effects into the piece, but because my shoots have been delayed alot, I am just going to shoot them on location.

Filming with Moureen
Yesterday I filmed my second actress. The shoot went really really well and Moureen was really spot on with what I wanted her to do. We met at 9am, did hair, make up and costume and then walked to the location. The actual shoot only took around 25 minutes to do, as it wasn't necessary to redo shots as there is no dialogue. I made sure I did plenty of takes and have a variety of shots so that I have lots of options when it comes to editing.
Originally in the storyboard and planning, Moureen's slot was only 23 seconds long, but her footage looked so good and she did so well that I am going to look into swapping her section with Rhiannon's section which is 48 seconds long, so she has more screen time.
I am going to edit Moureen's footage together for her so that she has a little video for her own showreel and therefore the work she has done will benefit her as well as myself.

A bit of filming
Today I got out the Canon xf100 and filmed the opening scene of my motion editorial. I wanted a clip that would set the scene and was simple. I therefore decided on a panning shot of the cityline. I shot the clip in a common place to film in Sheffield, above Sheffield train station. When I edit the clip I will colour grade it to match the rest of the video and will add and keyframe a warp mesh so that the visuals will reflect the audio and make it so it appears there is a disturbance in the picture.

Shoot Cancelled
Another shoot cancelled because of the snow! Going to do test shots of the effects so it will be easier and faster when it comes to the real film, when I FINALLY have the footage!
